c. 1920s; (likely) Lindsey Collection - Los Angeles
Frankart-inspired geometric Art Deco accent table lamp with a textured slag glass shade.
This piece features the side profile of a nude woman holding both sides of the lamp frame in an Atlas-type pose. The shade insert on the lamp is made of slag glass and pairs off-white with cream-colored streaks, while the remainder of the lamp is made of copper. The Zig Zag design motif adorning this lamp runs the length of the frame and goes down to the base, giving it a truly iconic look.
Exhibits minor tarnish/patina throughout.
