Antique converted heater lamp on a cast iron base.
This piece was originally a heater lamp used to provide both heat and illumination, but it has since been converted to just operate as a lamp. This particular lamp is designated as a Type C model by Fitzgerald Manufacturing and has been rewired and fitted with a standard socket.
Exhibits minor signs of wear including paint loss, scratches and tarnish.
